King Eddy: branding, event graphics, menus and operation collateral, advertising
In July 2019, the historic King Eddy reopened as restaurant, bar, and live music venue in Calgary. The look and feel needed to reflect the long history and also needed to be both professional and fun. Initially I designed the brand aesthetic, wrote guidelines and the style guide, and modified an existing logo. Early design collateral includes menus, advertisements, web graphics, corporate stationary, and on-site banners.
As programming at the Eddy develops, I design identities for live music series, posters for individual shows, and templates that can be updated by the Marketing Coordinator and other staff.
I also photograph assets for web and print advertising.
